Prashant Singri, MD

Dr. Singri was born and raised in Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and completed his medical training at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. After an internship at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, he completed a two-year research fellowship at Northwestern University investigating therapies in the treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous lymphoma, vitiligo, and actinic keratosis (“precancers”). He completed his dermatology residency at the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.  After working at Northwestern for 7 years with a special interest in psoriasis and inflammatory diseases, he turned to focusing his efforts in Schaumburg full-time. He continues to be a member of the faculty at Northwestern. He has recently returned to Rush University to give back and teach the next generation of dermatologists in training. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Singri and his family are proud supporters and volunteers at Kids Against Hunger – Fox Valley.  They are an annual corporate sponsor for the Race to End Hunger 5K.

They also annually contribute to the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, and multiple other service organizations.
